Macbeth

I was not at all excited about reading Macbeth when it was first introduced. Shakespeare seems to dreaded by all high school English students. But it is not what I had expected. I do not love it, but reading Macbeth is not as bad as I had thought it would be. I do not think the story is too gruesome or violent. In fact, I think these elements make it a more interesting read. The language is a little confusing, but I understand most of it. Re-reading is a must, but it usually ends up making sense. I think I would have a lot more trouble reading Macbeth if I read it outside of school. Having others around to help me understand the literature makes it much easier. I am enjoying Macbeth so far, and hopefully it stays that way.
