My Hero
I have had some trouble trying to think of who I would consider my hero. But when I really think about it, my dad is definitely my hero. This is probably common among boys my age. I've looked up to my dad all of my life. It is easy to overlook parents when trying to pick a hero. But my dad has always been a great role model. He has taught me many things, from responsibility to how to change engine oil. He made sure I grew up with the right values and morals. My dad has taught me that if one is willing to work hard, one is capable of great things. My dad was one of the oldest children in his family. He has ten siblings. Obviously, this means he did not have anything handed to him when he was growing up. He learned that he needed to work long and hard to achieve his goals. I feel like my dad has made sure I understand the value of persistence and the importance of working hard. Shortcuts are not an option. Also, my dad is always willing to help others. He is frequently helping neighbors, friends, or family with electrical issues around the home. I hope all of my dad's good traits are passed on to me. Superman, Spiderman, and Batman are all great heroes. But there is one thing that sets my dad apart. He is real.

My favorite sport is wakeboarding, but i also enjoy other water sports such as skiing and tubing. I plan on majoring in electrical engineering and attending UC or OSU. My favorite author would probably be Dean Koontz. Jimmy Nordloh and I have a quality story invloving a lobster and breaking into good friend's car, but thats a story for another time.
